Letter From Our President

On behalf of every sister, I want to welcome you to Chi Omega at Florida State University. My name is Ally Ingraham, and I am honored to serve as the President of the Gamma Chapter of Chi Omega for 2019.

I am beyond proud to stand among the women of Chi Omega.

I love Chi O for so many reasons and it is truly hard to explain just how much of a positive impact this chapter has had on my life. The inspiring group of leaders, unwavering support and lifelong friends are just a few of the things that I have found in Chi O that I will cherish for a lifetime. Every step of my journey in this chapter has pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me something new. During formal recruitment three years ago, I was searching for a home full of accepting, loyal and driven women. Chi Omega had that and so much more.  The positive impact our chapter has had on our member’s lives is astonishing. We hold each other to our highest standards in all of our involvements, including friendship, academics and leadership. I have grown substantially from being a leader in Chi O and am forever grateful that this sisterhood chose me and that I continue to find reasons to choose it every day.

Chi Omega encourages women to be genuine, inclusive and “to work earnestly, to speak kindly, and to act sincerely.” As you explore our website and learn more about the sisterhood we hold so closely to our hearts, I encourage you to reach out to me if you have any questions or would like to learn more about our chapter.
